What changes the choice
The modes serve different needs.
Shark lists red, blue and infrared light plus under-eye cooling for Plus. Omnilux lists red 633 nm and near-infrared 830 nm for Contour. The blue-light option matters if you want an acne-oriented mode; it does not prove Plus is better for wrinkles.
The shape affects the routine.
Plus is a rigid shell with cooling contacts and a remote. Contour is flexible silicone with a 10-minute session. Flexibility suggests easier storage, but we have no comparable packing measurement or personal fit test.
Direct-store returns differ.
Shark says direct US purchases can be returned free within 60 days. Omnilux gives Contour 30 days from delivery and deducts a $15 LED-device return fee. Omnilux requires the parcel to be postmarked by the deadline with the original box and supplied parts. These are direct-store terms; a retailer can differ.

This page compares Plus FW350PK. The original FW312 is separate. The FDA device registry ↗ identifies FW350PK and links it to submission K242796. That confirms the model mapping, not a comparative outcome.
Shark’s Plus listing cites FW300 for four- and eight-week results. Separate 12-week claims list study cohorts without naming the studied model. The FDA CryoGlow family record ↗ covers FW3XXXX; it is not a Plus-versus-Contour trial.
